Rodney C. Niemann, P.E., Principal

Construction Plan Review

Rod has over 35 years of extensive experience in providing construction consulting, environmental site assessment, and/or property condition assessment services to real estate lenders, investors, contractors, and owners.

His areas of expertise include plan and cost reviews for new construction projects, construction site observations, Environmental Site Assessments Phase I, condition assessments of existing properties, and construction project management services. Rod has performed over 1,000 ESA's and Property Condition Reports for a wide variety of lenders.

For 15 years Rod was with the development side of Mobil Oil Corporation. He supervised review as well as the project management of all projects including directing the inspection of construction, review of construction documents, and administration of compliance with the companies' construction review and environmental policies. Projects included development, commercial, industrial, and special use. Rod has extensive training in asbestos detection and lead paint abatement.

Finally, Rod's diversity across public and private sectors as well as his involvement in the design and construction of a variety of projects make him extremely valuable in analysis, detection, and review.

Rod is especially experienced in the removal and remediation of underground storage tanks and is a Registered Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Water Distribution System Operator Class I.

Rod is an AHERA certified asbestos inspector.

 

Ralph W. Pike, P.E.

Ralph has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska and over 35 years of engineering and project management experience.

His areas of expertise include property condition assessments and Environmental Site Assessments Phase I (ESA) of existing properties. He has performed several hundred Property Condition Reports and ESA's for a wide variety of lenders.

For 25 years Ralph was a consulting engineer for Hallmark Cards, Inc. During his tenure, he provided engineering support to the facility design and engineering group for the design of new warehouses and re-layout of manufacturing plants. He worked in a variety of company locations including manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and retail stores. He also provided project management for new manufacturing processes and new product launches.

Prior to Hallmark Cards, Inc., Ralph worked as a Management Engineer at North Kansas City Memorial Hospital in North Kansas City, Missouri and at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ralph is an AHERA certified asbestos inspector.
